017· Mikrofony
The 017 Series is a pair of large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphones, in FET and tube versions, built around the maker's own S17 capsule. It is aimed at studios recording vocals and other sources that call for a vintage-style sound.

The 017 Series comprises two large-diaphragm condenser microphones that share the same capsule, body and sonic character. The FET model responds to transients a little faster and tighter. The tube model has a smoother, rounded top end with slightly more coloration. Both use a fixed cardioid pattern.
The S17 capsule is machined in-house and uses a gold-sputtered, hand-tuned 34 mm diaphragm. It is loosely based on the 1960 K67 capsule, with a modified assembly and tuning. A toroidal transformer, also the maker's own, adds colour and depth to the signal.
The FET version runs on 48 V phantom power and ships in a wooden case with a hand-machined shock mount. The tube version needs its dedicated BP-017 power supply, connected by a 6-pin cable. It uses a 6ZH1P pentode tube, and a spare tube is included.
