Beam Ultra is a soundbar that sits under a TV and decodes Dolby Atmos for a 7.1.2 layout. It has nine Class-D amplifiers driving five tweeters, including two upward-firing ones for overhead effects, and four low-profile woofers. AI Speech Enhancement offers four levels for dialogue, Night Sound tames loud passages for quiet viewing, and Trueplay tunes the sound to the room using an iOS or Android device.
The soundbar connects to a TV through HDMI eARC/ARC with an included cable, and the existing TV remote works with it. Wireless streaming is covered by Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and Apple AirPlay 2, and Sonos Voice Control is supported. Touch controls on top handle playback and volume. TV audio can be swapped to compatible Sonos headphones.
It can grow into a larger system by adding a subwoofer, plus a pair of Sonos Play or Move 2 speakers, or other Sonos speakers, as rear surrounds. Setup and settings run through the Sonos app. A wall mount is available separately, and the body is made with 48% recycled plastic.
