Console 1 Fader Mk III adds ten motorised faders to a Console 1 setup. Each fader is touch-sensitive, has 0.2 mm resolution and gives haptic feedback. Touch automation can be written directly, and tracks can optionally be selected by touching their fader. Ten high-resolution screens show track name, number, level meters, pan and colour.
A Param mode assigns parameters such as filters, drive, compression threshold and width to the faders. Pressing it twice opens further parameters for the current track. There are six sends with spill mode. The unit works in four modes: Console 1, Pro Tools HUI, Generic MCU and Apollo Central. It also has direct integration with Cubase and Logic and integrated control for several other DAWs.
It connects over two USB-C ports. Up to four Fader units and a Console 1 Channel Mk III can be daisy-chained without a hub. A single included USB-C PD supply powers up to two units. The top is anodised aluminium with a VESA mount on the base, and rack-mount and stand accessories are available. It works with Channel Mk III, Console 1 Mk I and Mk II, and Fader Mk I.
