Console 1 Compact
Console 1 Compact is a half-width hardware control surface for the Console 1 mixing system, with 16 touch-sensitive potentiometers and one display. It suits producers who want hands-on channel-strip control of plug-ins in a DAW, in a small or portable setup.

Console 1 Compact condenses the Console 1 Channel Mk III workflow into a unit about half the width. Instead of one knob per function on a single layer, it uses two layers (EQ and Dynamics) to reach every section. The sections are Tape/Preamp, Filters, Shape, EQ, Compressor and Drive/Character. DAW controls cover volume, pan, solo/mute, six sends and track selection.
The unit has 16 touch-sensitive Analog Feel potentiometers, 34 RGB LEDs and a single high-resolution display showing EQ and compressor curves, a VU meter and track information. The top is anodized aluminium in a Nordic Night Sky finish, and the sides and back are injection moulded. A 100 mm M4 VESA pattern on the bottom allows stand mounting, with M4 threads on the sides.
It connects to the computer through one USB-C port and is bus powered. It works with the plug-in formats VST3, AU and AAX in major DAWs without mapping. Softube's Core Mixing Suite is included, and Console 1-ready plug-ins from Softube, Plugin Alliance, Brainworx, FabFilter, UAD and others can replace sections. It can be combined with other Console 1 units, and sessions stay recallable across Console 1 hardware generations.
