LAN iSilencer+

The LAN iSilencer+ is a short RJ45-to-RJ45 in-line device. It physically separates its input from its output with galvanic isolation rated at 1500Vrms, which blocks ground-potential differences and AC-borne currents travelling along the network cable, while data still passes at up to Gigabit speed.

After the isolation stage, a passive filter removes remaining high-frequency and RF-related interference, aimed at keeping timing more stable at the conversion stages of the connected device. A transient voltage suppression circuit protects the connected equipment against surges, with protection stated at 400W peak. The housing and connector design has been reworked to give better strain relief.

It is used by plugging it into the network streamer, or into the router, so that electrical noise coming from the network is removed. It needs no power supply or software. It works with general-purpose network devices such as notebooks, switches, routers and wireless devices, and is covered by a 12-month warranty.
