SRH1540

The SRH1540 is a closed-back, over-ear headphone built around 40 mm neodymium drivers. The diaphragm uses APTIV film for improved linearity and lower total harmonic distortion, while a steel driver frame with a vented center pole piece reduces internal resonance. The closed circumaural design rests over the ears and cuts down background noise.

The frame combines an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy yoke with a carbon fiber cap to keep weight low. The dual-frame padded headband is fully adjustable, and the replaceable ear pads use Alcantara covering over low-density, slow-recovery foam.

Connection is through dual-exit cables with gold-plated MMCX connectors, so the cable can be detached for storage or replaced. The box contains two detachable cables, a threaded 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) gold-plated adapter, a spare pair of Alcantara ear pads and a zippered hard case. A two-year limited warranty is included.
