The SM31FH is a cardioid condenser headset microphone with a moisture-repellent hydrophobic construction, made for fitness and aerobics instructors. It terminates in a TA4F (TQG) connector for use with Shure wireless bodypack transmitters.

The SM31FH is a lightweight wireframe headset with a cardioid condenser capsule, designed for instructors who speak while exercising. The cartridge housing and fabric use hydrophobic, moisture-repellent materials. This protects the capsule from the corrosion that humid, sweaty conditions can cause in typical fitness headsets.
A flexible gooseneck lets the user fine-tune the position of the capsule for the best isolation. The low-profile build is light enough to avoid fatigue during high-impact classes. A windscreen is included to reduce plosives, breath noise and wind noise, and the frequency response is tailored for clear speech.
The microphone connects through a TA4F 4-pin (TQG) connector, so it works with any Shure wireless bodypack and can serve as a replacement headset for existing Shure wireless systems. It is also offered bundled with BLX and GLX-D wireless systems. An optional RK379 replacement clip with two windscreens is available.
