MX415
Surface-mount-style modular gooseneck microphone, 15 inches (38.1 cm) long, with a low-profile design and a status indicator. It is aimed at conference rooms, lecterns and installations where a discreet table mic is needed, and it needs a separate Microflex base or preamp.

The MX415 is the longest of the low-profile modular Microflex goosenecks (15 inches / 38.1 cm). It has a wide dynamic range and a smooth frequency response, and RF filtering using CommShield technology helps keep wireless and mobile interference out of the signal.
The status indicator is either a bi-color LED at the bottom of the gooseneck or a red light ring at the top, depending on the version. The microphone is sold with no capsule, or with a cardioid or supercardioid capsule. A snap-fit foam windscreen is supplied.
The microphone is modular, so it does not work alone. It connects through a 6-pin modular connector or a 5-pin XLR, and it is paired with a Shure preamp or base: the MX400DP desktop base, the MX400SMP surface mount preamp, or a wireless desktop base (MX890, MXW8 or ULXD8). The A400MB mute button can add touch muting.
