The MX410 is a modular gooseneck microphone from the Microflex range with a 10-inch (25.4 cm) neck. It has a low-profile design, a wide dynamic range and a smooth frequency response. RF filtering based on CommShield technology helps reduce interference from wireless devices.
Status is shown either by a bi-color LED at the bottom of the gooseneck or by a red light ring at the top, depending on the version. The capsule is chosen separately: the model is offered without a capsule, or with a cardioid or supercardioid one. The listed black version is the surface mount variant and ships with a snap-fit foam windscreen.
The microphone does not work on its own; it connects to a preamp base through a 6-pin modular connector. Compatible bases include the MX400DP desktop base, the MX400SMP surface mount preamp, and the MX890, MXW8 and ULXD8 wireless desktop bases, which allow wireless use.
