MX391
The MX391 is a Microflex boundary microphone with interchangeable condenser cartridges, supplied with cardioid, supercardioid and omnidirectional capsules. It suits fixed installations such as altars, boardrooms and distance-learning rooms where a low-profile mic is wanted.

The MX391 is a surface-mounted boundary microphone in the Microflex range. It has a flat frequency response across the vocal range and a low-profile body intended to stay unobtrusive in a room. Condenser cartridges are interchangeable, so the pickup pattern can be matched to the space.
The microphone is supplied with cardioid, supercardioid and omnidirectional capsules. The Microflex boundary series offers programmable, silent membrane switches and logic inputs and outputs for controlling the system it is part of.
The output is balanced and transformerless, which helps keep noise down over long cable runs. A 4 m (12 ft) cable is attached and ends in a 4-pin mini connector that goes to a separate preamplifier. A rubber strain relief is included for installations that remove the mini connector and wire the cable straight to the screw terminals in the preamplifier.
