DCA901
The DCA901 is a compact digital broadcast microphone array that captures up to eight isolated audio channels from a single unit. It is aimed at broadcast, sports, crowd-sound and media production teams who want fewer microphones and simpler cabling.

The DCA901 is a low-profile digital array microphone built for broadcast and media production. A single unit produces up to eight isolated pickup zones, called steerable lobes, which can be adjusted virtually instead of physically repositioning microphones. An Auto Position function helps orient a lobe quickly toward the desired direction.
Audio is processed at the source. Built-in DSP covers EQ, compression, delay and automixing, which reduces the amount of outboard hardware in the signal chain. Settings can be saved and recalled as presets so that configurations stay consistent between shows, venues or seasons. The array supports 5.1 immersive capture with stereo conversion, as well as REMI workflows and alternate feeds through flexible routing and remote lobe control.
A single network cable over Dante or AES67 carries audio, power and control. An optional free preview of Action Isolator software, which needs Dante Virtual Soundcard and Windows 11, can identify key action sounds across up to eight channels. A WindJammer accessory is listed as a related product.
