The CVL is a small clip-on lavalier microphone built for presenters and speakers who need a microphone that stays out of sight. It uses a permanently charged electret condenser element with a unidirectional cardioid pickup pattern, which reduces unwanted sound from the sides and rear.
The frequency response is tailored for speech and presentations. A tie clip and a windscreen are included; the windscreen helps reduce plosives, wind and breath noise. The compact body supports low-visibility, hands-free use.
The microphone ends in a TA4F connector (TQG), which connects directly to Shure wireless systems. A replacement kit, the RK376, is listed as a related accessory for this model.
