The BRH440M is a dual-sided (two-ear) broadcast headset designed for intercom use. It is listed as discontinued. The maker describes the vocal reproduction as natural and highly intelligible, and mentions a feature that deactivates part of the headset's function, though the full feature text is not given.
The headset belongs to a family with the BRH441M and BRH50M, and shares accessories with them. Replaceable parts include ear pads (BCAEC440) and a microphone windscreen (BCAWS1, which also fits the BRH31M and BRH441M).
Connection to intercom systems is through separately sold cable assemblies fitted with Neutrik connectors. Options include a 6.3 mm version, a long XLR / 6.3 mm version, and male, female and 5-pin XLR versions, so the headset can be matched to different beltpacks and intercom stations.
