Description
The BLX24/B58 is a single-channel wireless microphone set built around a BLX2 handheld transmitter with a Beta 58A capsule and a BLX4 receiver. The transmitter runs on a pair of AA batteries for up to 14 hours, and the system is designed to be set up quickly using one-touch scan and channel selection.
Operating range reaches up to 300 ft (100 m), so a vocalist can move around the stage or into the audience. Several systems can run together, with up to 12 channels per frequency band, depending on region and environment. The set is offered in several frequency bands (H9, H10, H11 and J11), so the right one should be matched to the user's location.
The receiver is powered by the supplied PS24 power supply. The package also includes a carrying case, a swivel adapter and a thread adapter. Other Shure microphone capsules are available in the BLX range for users who prefer a different vocal sound.
