XSW 2-835-A

The XSW 2-835 is a complete handheld wireless set. It combines the EM-XSW 2 receiver with the SKM 835-XSW transmitter, which carries a cardioid dynamic capsule from the evolution series. The receiver works on the true-diversity principle with external antennas and is housed in metal. An LCD display gives access to manual settings, and the system is fully tunable across a wide range of UHF frequencies.

Setup is helped by automatic frequency management, with synchronization to the transmitter over a remote channel. Up to 12 channels are compatible at the same time. The transmitter adjustment range is 0 to -30 dB in 10 dB steps, and squelch can be switched between 3 dBμV and 28 dBμV using a pilot tone.

The receiver provides a 1/4" (6.3 mm) unbalanced jack output and a balanced XLR output. The set includes a rackmount kit, a microphone clamp, a power supply, two AA batteries and a pouch. The transmitter runs for roughly 10 hours on its batteries. Frequency sheets are published for several UHF ranges, so the range should be matched to the country of use.
