The RS 5000 is a digital wireless TV headphone system with a dedicated transmitter. It offers three selectable hearing profiles, so the sound can be tuned for television, films or music according to personal taste.
A Speech Intelligibility function raises the clarity of spoken dialogue at the push of a button. The design emphasises simple handling, wearing comfort and a long-lasting battery, using digital wireless transmission between the transmitter and the headphone.
The system works with the Flex 5000 Transmitter and uses the 3.5 mm to RCA adapter jack as a compatible accessory for connecting to audio sources. Spare parts such as earpads with cerumen filters, foam ear tips and an 800 battery pack for Stethoset receivers are listed as compatible accessories. The product is no longer sold directly by the maker, with spare parts and accessories still offered.
