The HD 569 is a closed-back, circumaural headphone from the HD 5 range, which succeeds the HD 500 series. It uses Sennheiser's own 38 mm transducers with the E.A.R. (Ergonomic acoustic refinement) angled driver alignment, which directs sound into the ear. The closed earcups isolate outside noise and keep the music from leaking out. Large earcups and soft, replaceable ear pads are intended for long listening sessions.
Two detachable cables are supplied. A 1.2 m cable with a 3.5 mm plug carries a one-button remote and microphone for calls and music control. A longer cable with a screw-on 6.35 mm adapter suits home use. A 4.4 mm balanced cable is offered as a separate accessory for the HD 500 family.
The headphones have no active noise cancellation and are passive only. They are supplied with a drawstring storage bag.
