The set combines one SR IEM G4 stereo transmitter in a full-metal half-rack housing with two EK IEM G4 bodypack receivers and two IE 4 earphones. The transmitter has an OLED display for control, and the receivers use an adaptive diversity design. Transmitter and receivers can be synchronised wirelessly over infrared.
The system offers up to 16 compatible channels and a tunable bandwidth of up to 42 MHz with 1680 selectable frequencies in the UHF range. RF output reaches up to 50 mW, depending on national regulations, and the stated transmission range is up to 100 m (300 ft). Frequency allocation can be managed with Sennheiser WSM control software.
Audio goes in through two XLR/6.3 mm jack combo sockets on the transmitter, and the stereo output is a balanced 6.3 mm jack. Antenna output is a BNC socket (50 Ω). A rackmount set (GA 3) and a rod antenna are included, along with a power supply and AA batteries for the receivers.
