The EW-DP ME 4 Set (Q1-6) is a fully digital single-channel UHF wireless system built around a small portable receiver and a bodypack transmitter. It comes with the ME 4, a pre-polarized condenser lavalier with a cardioid pattern, which helps separate speech from background noise in louder environments.
The receiver has a front-facing OLED display for menu navigation, and Smart Notifications that help troubleshoot problems. Bluetooth synchronization and system control are handled through the Smart Assist app. Magnetic and stackable mounting options let the receiver sit on a camera rig, and several powering options are available for long days on location. Latency is 1.9 ms.
The receiver outputs through locking 3.5 mm TRS or XLR cables, both included. The kit also includes a BA 70 li-ion battery, two AA batteries, a USB-C charging cable and a mounting kit with cheese plate, cold shoe, belt clip and screws.
