The set pairs a single-channel digital receiver with a digital bodypack transmitter and an ME 2 omnidirectional lavalier microphone, a pre-polarized condenser capsule intended for clear dialogue. It works in the UHF band rather than the crowded 2.4 GHz band, and the listed latency is 1.9 ms.

The receiver has a front-facing OLED display for menu navigation and on-screen notifications that help troubleshoot problems. Bluetooth synchronisation and system control are handled through the Smart Assist app. Magnetic and stackable mounting options let the receiver sit on a camera rig, and several powering options are provided for long days on location.

The receiver connects to a camera or recorder with the supplied locking 3.5 mm TRS or XLR cables, and charges over USB-C. The box also includes a BA 70 li-ion battery, two AA batteries and a mounting kit with cheese plate, cold shoe, belt clip and screws. The ME 4 cardioid lavalier is offered as an alternative for noisier surroundings.
