This set combines an SKM 100 G4-S aluminum handheld transmitter with an integrated mute switch, an MMD 935-1 dynamic cardioid capsule and an EM 100 G4 true diversity receiver. The receiver has a full-metal half-rack housing and an LCD display for controlling the system, and a rack kit is included for mounting.
The system tunes across up to 42 MHz of bandwidth in the UHF range, with 1680 selectable frequencies and up to 20 compatible channels. A linking function assigns frequencies quickly across up to 12 receivers. The transmitter and receiver are synchronized wirelessly by infrared. Transmission range is up to 100 meters, and RF output power is up to 30 mW depending on country regulations.
The receiver sends audio out through a 6.3 mm unbalanced jack socket. The transmitter runs on 2 AA batteries for typically 8 hours. This 1G8 variant covers 1785 to 1800 MHz. Other capsules from the e 835, e 845, e 865, e 935 and e 945 line can be fitted.
