RF SPACE

The RF Space is a free-standing reflexion filter that surrounds a microphone to limit how much of the room's sound reaches it. It combines a larger surface area than earlier Reflexion Filters with deeper air gaps and more efficient materials, using a patented multi-layer construction intended to absorb, isolate and diffuse across the full bandwidth without adding coloration to the source.

The filter is suggested for vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, bass cabs, strings and orchestral parts, piano, woodwinds, harmonica, brass, kick drum and room miking. Each unit is hand-built at the maker's own factory.

It mounts on microphone stands or drum hardware using dedicated hardware that can be adjusted and locked horizontally, vertically and at any tilt angle. A stand thread adapter and sealable sand bags for steadying a leaning stand are supplied, with sand not included. The filter is designed for conventional vertical stands; a very sturdy boom stand is possible with careful counterweighting.
