The K9 XTX is a plug-on transmitter that attaches to any microphone or line-level source through a locking 3-pin XLR connector. It works in the 550–960 MHz UHF range and uses GPS to adjust frequencies to local regulations. Phantom power can be set to 3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 24 V or 48 V, or switched off for dynamic microphones and line-level devices.
The transmitter records on board in 32-bit float to a 64 GB microSD card as a safety backup. It reads and generates timecode, can receive wireless sync through the Saramonic System, and accepts wired timecode input from third-party devices. Output power is 50 mW, with stable transmission quoted up to 150 m. A large colour screen shows device status and battery level.
Power comes from two exchangeable AA batteries, with up to 14 hours of runtime, or from USB-C external power and charging. The Saramonic System app controls up to 48 devices, including grouping, sleep mode and firmware updates. The body resists sweat, moisture and debris, and reaches IP66 water resistance when fitted in the separately sold waterproof case.
