VAD504

The VAD504 is an electronic kit built around full-depth wood shells: a 20-inch kick, 10-inch rack tom and 14-inch floor tom, plus a 14-inch stainless steel digital snare. Cymbals are a 14-inch digital hi-hat, a 14-inch thin crash and an 18-inch digital ride. Everything sits on double-braced chrome stands, and the drum shells carry Midnight Sparkle wraps. It follows the VAD503 and adds a digital hi-hat and heavier cymbal stands taken from the VAD706.

Sounds come from the updated TD-27 module, which carries 75 preset kits, Prismatic Sound Modeling derived from the TD-50X, PureAcoustic Ambience, layering, parallel compression and transient shaping. Kits can be edited from the front panel, edits are saved automatically, and your own WAV samples can be loaded from an SD card. Practice tools include Coach mode with progress tracking, Bluetooth audio streaming and support for the Melodics for V-Drums app.

The module has stereo mix outputs and two assignable direct outputs for a PA mixer. A built-in USB audio interface provides up to 28 channels, MIDI runs over USB and dedicated connectors, and three auxiliary trigger inputs allow extra pads to be added.
