Beskrivelse

The TD-50X is a drum sound module built around Prismatic Sound Modeling, which combines multi-layer samples with behaviour modeling, and PureAcoustic Ambience for room and reverb control. It holds more than 900 instruments and 100 kits, of which more than 50 are presets. Kits can be edited down to tuning, muffling, shell depth, head type and cymbal character.

Three USB A digital trigger inputs support Roland digital pads such as the PD-140DS snare, CY-18DR ride and VH-14D hi-hat. Fourteen trigger assignments are shared between these and the 1/4-inch TRS analog trigger inputs. Processing includes per-pad compressors and equalizers, an overhead mic simulator, room/reverb, three multi-effect systems with 38 types, and master compression and EQ. Users can import up to 500 WAV samples from an SD card.

For live use there are balanced XLR master outputs and eight balanced TRS direct outputs, plus eight panel faders. A USB Hi-Speed port carries 32 channels of audio in each direction along with MIDI. Practice tools include a metronome, Coach mode, a recorder and mix inputs for playing along with a phone or laptop.
