The RP302 is a compact home digital piano built around a SuperNATURAL piano sound engine and an 88-key Ivory Feel-G keyboard with escapement. Three pedals are built into the stand, and the damper and soft pedals support continuous detection. Polyphony is 128 voices, with 11 piano tones and 305 other tones, including 8 drum sets and an SFX set.
For practice, it has internal song collections (Piano Masterpieces, Easy Piano, Czerny, Hanon and scale-learning songs), a metronome, and a one-part SMF recorder. Audio and MIDI files can be played from USB memory. Twin Piano mode splits the keyboard into two players in the same key range, and Dual and Split modes are also available. A Headphones 3D Ambience effect is provided for headphone use.
The piano has two 12 cm speakers with 12 W x 2 output. It connects to a computer through a USB Type B port and to USB flash memory through a Type A port. It also has stereo mini-jack input and output and two headphone jacks. The cabinet comes in Contemporary Black or Contemporary Rosewood and is only sold in certain regions.
