Descrição

The RH-5 is an entry-level model in Roland's RH headphone range. It uses 40 mm dynamic drivers in a closed-back enclosure, which isolates the wearer from room noise and keeps sound from leaking into the surroundings. The tuning is described as balanced, suiting digital pianos, guitars, synths and electronic drums as well as DAW work and streaming.

The construction is lightweight at 190 g without the cord, intended to stay comfortable during long practice or mixing sessions. Impedance is 32 ohm with 92 dB/mW sensitivity and a 10–22,000 Hz frequency response, and the maximum input is 1000 mW.

A 3 m cord with a gold-plated stereo mini plug lets the user move between instruments, computers and recording equipment. A supplied adapter converts the mini plug to a 1/4-inch phone plug. Roland lists 7.5 m extension cables (1/4-inch and 1/8-inch stereo versions) as optional accessories.
