Deskrizzjoni
The MV-8000 is a standalone studio built around 16 velocity- and aftertouch-sensitive pads, a large graphic LCD and realtime control knobs. Its sequencer offers 128 MIDI tracks and 8 stereo audio tracks, with realtime time stretch and punch-in recording. Pattern and Drum Grid composing modes sit alongside linear recording, and up to 500 patterns can be chained per project.
The sampler records at 16-bit and 44.1 kHz, with 128 MB of RAM as standard and a single DIMM slot for expansion to 512 MB. It imports audio CD, WAV/AIFF, ACIDized files, Roland S-700 and Akai MPC2000 and S1000/3000 libraries. Effects include reverb, chorus/delay and a COSM-based multi-effects processor, plus a Mastering Tool Kit. A built-in analog-modeled bass synth and the Pix Jam image feature are included in Version 3 software; Version 3.5 adds audio track and mute automation and a 3-band EQ.
Storage comprises a 40 GB internal hard drive, a CD-RW drive and a 3.5-inch floppy drive. The unit has stereo mic/line and phono inputs, stereo analog and digital master outputs and a USB port for computer access. The optional MV8-OP1 board adds six analog outputs, a digital input and an R-BUS port, and the optional MV8-VGA board allows an external VGA monitor and mouse.
