GO:LIVECAST combines a small control unit with a mobile app to handle the main jobs of a live web show: mixing sound, displaying titles, playing music, photos and video, and triggering sound effects. The phone plugs into the unit, and earbuds or headphones can be connected for monitoring.
For audio, there is a built-in microphone with onboard reverb, a combo XLR/TRS jack with phantom power for an external mic, and a stereo line input for an instrument, mixer or other source. Knobs set mic, pad, line and headphone levels, and a mute button silences the mic on demand.
The app signs in to services such as Facebook Live, Twitch and YouTube and shows viewer comments while streaming. It supports front or rear camera selection, a skin filter, mirroring, and automatic portrait or landscape switching. A second smartphone camera can be added over wi-fi with split-screen views, and app version 1.10 can stream a second phone's screen for gaming with a picture-in-picture camera overlay. Media libraries and Live Sets keep content ready for each show.
