The FP-10 is a digital piano built around an 88-note PHA-4 Standard keyboard that has escapement and Ivory Feel key surfaces. Its SuperNATURAL piano sound engine offers 96-voice polyphony and 15 tones in total: 4 piano, 2 electric piano and 9 others. String, damper and key-off resonance are always active on the piano tones.
Playing aids include Whole, Dual and Twin Piano keyboard modes, five key touch settings plus a fixed touch, ambience and brilliance controls, and a metronome covering tempos of 10–500 and 14 beat settings. There are 17 listening songs and 15 tone demo songs built in. Master tuning and transposition are adjustable.
The piano has two 12 cm speakers driven by 6 W each, a stereo mini-jack headphone output that doubles as a line output, a USB Type B port for a computer and a USB Type A update port. Bluetooth 4.0 is provided for MIDI. A damper pedal switch is supplied, and the optional DP-10 pedal allows half-pedal control.
