The F-130R is a console-style digital piano built around the SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine and the PHA-4 Standard Keyboard, which has 88 keys with escapement and Ivory Feel surfaces. It offers 128-voice polyphony, 11 grand piano tones and 305 other tones including 8 drum sets and 1 SFX set. Keyboard modes include Whole, Dual, Split and Twin Piano.
For playing along and practice, it has 72 rhythm styles with two variations each that follow the chords played, a metronome, and a one-part SMF recorder storing about 30,000 notes. Built-in songs include 69 piano masterpieces, 100 Czerny studies and 20 Hanon exercises. A USB memory port plays WAV and SMF files and saves recordings as Standard MIDI Files. Headphones use a 3D Ambience effect, and a volume limit function is included.
Sound comes from two 12 W amplified speakers. Connections include a USB Computer port (Type B), a USB Memory port (Type A), stereo mini input and output jacks, and two headphone jacks (mini and 1/4-inch). The folding lid covers the keyboard when closed. Roland's Air Performer and Piano Partner iOS apps are supported, and wireless connection needs the optional Wireless USB Adapter. White and Contemporary Black finishes are offered.
