Aerophone mini Plus is a mobile app that works alongside the Aerophone mini wind instrument. It adds more than 50 sounds to the six built into the instrument, including sax variations, oboe, bassoon, recorder, shakuhachi and bagpipes. These sounds play through the mobile device and are grouped for easy auditioning.
For learning, the app has 11 tutorial songs that show fingerings as the song plays, with a guide melody and adjustable tempo. It tracks the fingering as you play and awards medals for accuracy. Songs from the device's music library (WAV, AAC, MP3, without DRM) can be slowed down, looped with A/B repeat, or played with the vocal reduced by the center cancel function. A built-in metronome supports rhythm practice.
The app also edits instrument settings: breath sensitivity, transposition of the sound engine to any key, and creation and storage of custom fingering setups. It connects to the Aerophone mini wirelessly over Bluetooth.
