The Wireless GO II is a two-channel wireless system for capturing two sound sources at once. It uses the maker's Series IV 2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption, with a stated line-of-sight range of up to 200m, and is designed to stay stable in crowded RF environments such as offices, malls and busy streets.
Each transmitter has on-board recording with over 40 hours of internal memory, so a backup exists if a subject moves out of range. The two channels can be recorded separately or combined, which leaves options for post-production. A safety channel and flexible gain control (a three-stage pad, expandable to 10 stages) help keep levels under control when a speaker gets louder.
The receiver provides a 3.5mm TRS analog output for cameras, plus USB-C and iOS digital outputs for phones, tablets and computers. Transmitters and receiver each weigh under 32g and clip onto clothing, camera cold shoes, boom poles or mobile rigs. The RØDE Central app handles settings, firmware updates and recording export, and the system works with RØDE Connect and other Series IV devices.
