NT1

The NT1 is a studio condenser microphone built around a 1-inch gold-sputtered capsule with a cardioid polar pattern. It is described as having a detailed midrange, smooth high frequencies and warm bass. Its self-noise is 4.5dB(A), which suits quiet sources and clean vocal takes.

The capsule is shock mounted internally to reduce vibration from outside. The body is machined from high-grade aluminium with nickel plating and a military-grade ceramic coating. Typical uses are pop, rock and hip-hop vocals, podcasting and voice-over, and instruments including drums, percussion, acoustic instruments and guitar cabinets.
