The X2 is a modular video processor built around card-frame style slots: four for inputs and four for outputs. Input cards cover VGA, CVBS, USB media, 3G-SDI, HDBaseT and a multi-signal 4K option, for up to 16 inputs in total. Output cards offer HDMI, 3G-SDI, HDBaseT and H.264, for up to 16 outputs.
Switching is seamless, with fade-in/fade-out transitions and no glitches, combined with scaling for high-resolution material. Built-in operating modes let the unit work as a video wall processor, a presentation processor or a dynamic router, with multi-window and multi-layer layouts across the output pixel space. EDID management, real-time resolution adaptation and colour uniformity compensation are included.
Status and IP address settings are available from the front panel. The unit can also be connected over a LAN to the XPOSE software for remote configuration.
