VSP628 PRO

The VSP628 PRO is a video processor that combines seamless switching with scaling. It takes inputs in many formats and converts, scales and transcodes them to standard DVI/HDMI outputs. Several output modes let it serve scaling, presentation switching, 4K distribution and broadcast jobs.

The feature list covers two channels and five system modes. Picture handling includes scale, crop and position, mask, picture in picture, DSK/chroma key, noise reduction, rotation and flip, grayscale processing, custom formats and visual effects. It also offers EDID configuration, logo capture and signal backup.

Outputs can be extended beyond DVI/HDMI with optional SDI, HDBaseT and FiberPort ports. Control and firmware tools are the XPOSE app, which is listed for Apple and Google stores, and the XTOOL updater. A product brochure and a specification document are available from the maker.
