A fiber-optic HDMI 2.0 extender pair with a transmitter and receiver that carries 4K at 50/60 Hz 4:4:4 up to 10 km over single-mode fiber. It adds a loop output, audio de-embedding and USB keyboard/mouse transmission for installed AV links.

The MSP 318 V2 sends HDMI video and audio over a single-mode fiber cable at distances up to 10 km. Resolution reaches 4K2K at 50/60 Hz with 4:4:4 colour, within the HDMI 2.0b specification and with a video bandwidth of up to 18 Gbps. It complies with HDCP 2.2 and passes through HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG, as well as 3D video formats.
The transmitter provides a loop output so the source signal can also be shown locally, and the receiver can de-embed the audio. Supported audio formats include LPCM 2/5.1/7.1 channel, the Dolby Digital family, Dolby TrueHD, the DTS family including DTS-HD Master Audio, and DSD. Advanced EDID management is included.
USB 1.1 keyboard and mouse transmission lets a user control the source device from the display side, or control the display device from the source side. The units are small and light, and the fiber link is resistant to interference.
