MSP 204
The MSP 204 is a compact HDMI-to-SDI converter that outputs up to 3G-SDI and can embed audio from two balanced analog inputs. It suits video crews and AV integrators who need to feed SDI equipment from HDMI or DVI sources.

The MSP 204 converts an HDMI input into an SDI output that supports 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI. It handles a range of resolutions, including 480i, 576i, 720p, 1080i and 1080p, and detects the input format automatically.
Audio can be embedded in the SDI stream in two ways: from the HDMI signal, or independently through two balanced analog audio inputs. Separate left and right analog audio or digital AES/EBU audio is supported. The HDMI input is specified as HDMI 1.3 or DVI 1.0.
Settings are made with a DIP switch on the unit, and the converter can also be configured remotely over USB. The housing is small, and one or several units can be mounted in a rack alongside other MSP-series devices using the MSP Garage.
