The MSP 203 is a mini converter from the MSP micro-converter series. It takes one SDI input (SD, HD or 3G) and outputs HDMI 1.3 or DVI 1.0. An SDI loop output is also provided so the signal can be passed on to another device. It handles resolutions including 480i, 576i, 720p, 1080i and 1080p.
Audio can come from the embedded SDI stream, or from two balanced analog inputs (separate left and right) or one digital AES/EBU input. The unit detects the input format automatically, and settings are made with a DIP switch or through remote configuration over USB.
The small housing is easy to place on a desk or install. One or several MSP 203 units can be mounted in a rack together with other MSP devices using the MSP Garage. A specification sheet, quick start guide and user manual are available as downloads.
