mini-pro

The mini-pro is a portable video switcher that takes four HDMI 2.0 inputs (HDCP 1.4) at resolutions up to 4K@60 and mixes them with 15 transition effects, in AUTO or WIPE mode. Compared with the earlier generations it adds a second HDMI output, so the multi-view, Program or AUX feeds can be monitored while a separate Program output is kept. A 2.1-inch full-colour IPS touch screen provides icon-based menus, and a five-way joystick and toggle handle layer movement, aspect ratio, PTZ control, chroma keying (green or blue) and picture-in-picture.

Audio mixing covers four channels of embedded HDMI audio plus two external channels. The audio hardware uses a fully differential balanced DAC design for the mic and line inputs. PTZ cameras can be controlled over IP using the VISCA protocol, with presets that can be saved and recalled with one click.

The USB output works as a webcam with YUY2 and MJPEG formats and needs no driver, so it can feed apps such as Zoom, YouTube, Facebook or TikTok. USB recording is possible in exFAT or FAT32, and a solid-state drive interface accepts drives up to 2TB for recording alongside a stream. Network streaming uses RTMP(S) to several platforms at once, and TAO Cloud integration extends this to more destinations. Remote control is possible with Stream Deck and Companion.
