M1 is a scaling and vision mixing processor that converts any input signal to the output and switches two layers between preview and program. It has four input channels, and a standard module board with four DVI inputs is fitted. The unit is operated from an LCD touch screen or a rotary menu control, and it handles integrated audio with several audio outputs.

The design is modular, and the modules can be hot-swapped, so input and output options can be configured for the job. Program output can be streamed through an optional USB 3.0 output module or via a mobile phone. An optional NDI decoding module offers up to four Gigabit NDI network ports, with transmission up to NDI | HX2. Further functions include a T-bar and TAKE button with 14 transition effects, masks for the foreground layer (user-defined masks included), extra layers for OSD, logo and still images, and Genlock Y input.

Presets can be saved and stored on an external USB disk. The unit works with PTZ cameras through VISCA control and is compatible with a wide range of digital displays. It is offered in HDMI, DVI and HDMI+SDI versions.
