The Terminal Mix 2 is a two-deck controller with a built-in two-channel mixer. Each channel has a 3-band EQ, gain and filter knob, and the crossfader curve can be set from the front panel. Each deck has a 15.5 cm touch-sensitive aluminium jog wheel with a vinyl-grip surface and three modes: pitch bend, vinyl and quick search. A 100 mm, 14-bit pitch fader sits on each deck.
The performance section has eight buttons across two layers, covering hot cues and sampler triggering, alongside a four-button effects block with three knobs and an encoder, and four loop controls. The master section has a Trax encoder with load buttons and four buttons for navigating playlists and crates without touching the laptop. Deck switch buttons allow control of up to four decks, and a Traktor Pro 2 mapping is available.
The controller connects to a Mac or PC by USB and can run on USB bus power. Outputs include balanced 6.3 mm jacks, RCA master and RCA booth outputs. Inputs include a microphone jack with EQ and a phono/line RCA input. Two headphone outputs (6.3 mm and 3.5 mm) are provided. Serato DJ Intro is included, and some features need the Pro version of the software.
