The RP-2000 USB is a two-speed (33 1/3 and 45 rpm), fully manual direct-drive turntable. Its quartz-controlled, brushless DC motor drives the platter directly rather than through a belt, which gives a starting torque above 1,000 g/cm for quick starts and steady playback speed. It ships with an Reloop OM black cartridge, a headshell and a slipmat.
For digitizing records, the deck has a USB audio output that connects straight to recording software on a computer. No driver installation is needed. An integrated equalizing preamp provides a switchable phono or line-level output, so the turntable can be connected without a separate phono stage and without a grounding wire.
The tonearm has adjustable tracking force (0 to 4 g) and anti-skating (0 to 7 g). The deck runs on 115/230 V mains power at 50/60 Hz and weighs 9.5 kg. The maker lists the model as discontinued.
