The RH-2500 is a closed-back DJ headphone that follows on from the RH-2400 series. The fully closed construction is intended to give tighter bass while keeping mids and highs clear, and the high output level suits monitoring and mixing in loud environments.
Each ear cup holds a 40 mm driver, and the headphone covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The ear cups swivel and fold in, and the reinforced bracket and new headband design are meant to improve durability and comfort. Weight has been reduced to 307 g. The Reloop logo is set in a border on the ear cups.
A single cord of oxygen-free copper strand is routed to one side only. It ends in a 3.5 mm stereo jack, and a 6.3 mm stereo adaptor is supplied. An optional Premium Headphone Bag is listed as an accessory.
