Description
The Jockey 3 ME is a metal-bodied DJ controller with two large touch-sensitive jog wheels, a transport and loop section, and a 4-deck switching system for Traktor. It ships with Traktor LE 2 and works as a MIDI controller with other software such as Virtual DJ. The jog wheels offer up to 4096 impulses per rotation, with adjustable touch sensitivity and drag, and four jog modes.
The Master Edition mixer section works on its own: two analogue phono/line inputs let turntables or CD players be mixed with no computer connected. Each channel has a switch to select between two software decks or the analogue input. The mixer has 70 mm line faders, a replaceable crossfader with adjustable curve, a 3-band EQ with filter and gain, cue buttons with a cue-mix fader, and an LED level meter.
The built-in USB audio and MIDI interface runs at up to 24 bit/96 kHz with Burr-Brown converters. Outputs include balanced master jacks, RCA master, a booth output and a master-thru connection for linking a second controller. A mic input and two headphone outputs are fitted.
