The IQ.2+ is a 2+1-channel mixer built around a freely assignable DSP effect unit. Available effects are Echo, Auto Pan, Flanger, Manual Filter, Auto Filter, Reverb, Trans and Pitch Shifter. The manual filter sweeps steplessly from low-pass to high-pass. Effect timing can be set by hand using five beat buttons or with the automatic or manual beat counter, and a mini fader controls the dry/wet amount. A large LCD shows the effect and BPM parameters.
Three crossfader effects (Filter X, Delay X and Pitch X) can run with manual or automatic cross-over. For mixing and scratching there is a long-life 45 mm TCT crossfader and 60 mm line faders, both with adjustable curves and fader start. Channels 1 and 2 have 3-band EQs, and the microphone input has a 2-band EQ with talkover. The master volume uses an oversized vintage-style knob.
The mixer has two phono inputs, line inputs, a mic input, an effect send and return, and a front aux input for portable players. Outputs are balanced 6.3 mm jack and unbalanced RCA, with two headphone outputs (3.5 mm and 6.3 mm). The top panel has a rubberpaint finish and the lower panel is brushed aluminium.
