The Digital Jockey 2 Master Edition is a Traktor-oriented DJ controller with a classic two-channel mixer layout, two touch-sensitive jog wheels and a large browse encoder. Its internal signal processing is fully digital, and an integrated 4-channel USB audio interface works at 24 bit/96 kHz.
Unlike earlier versions in the series, it can mix on its own: two phono/line sources such as turntables or CD players can be mixed without software or a computer. Input routing is flexible, so the microphone and phono/line inputs can be sent either to the software or to the master output. The microphone input has its own equalizer, and the headphone section has a 1-band equalizer.
Outputs include balanced 6.3 mm jack master outputs for direct connection to a club PA, a second master output on RCA and a separate RCA booth output for a DJ monitor. The unit connects to PC or Mac over USB with ASIO drivers, offers 73 freely assignable MIDI controls, and ships with Traktor LE.
