Rb220

The RB220 is a tonearm built around a one-piece aluminium arm tube designed to reduce stress on Rega's patented ultra low friction polymer bearings. Each arm is assembled by hand with purpose-made tools and set torque values, with the aim of keeping tracking accurate and letting the cartridge retrieve as much detail from the groove as possible.

The current version adds adjustable bias, which widens the range of cartridges it can work with. The bias / anti-skate system is Rega's own design and changes the amount of bias applied as the arm moves across the record. The arm fits using Rega's three point mounting system and is described as simple to set up.

It is a low-mass design with an effective mass of 11 g, a 222 mm mounting distance and 236.5 mm effective length. A user manual is available to download for the full technical specifications, and the arm carries a lifetime limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
