The Seventy-Two is a two-channel performance mixer with a steel chassis and a wooden-style side design. It has a 4.3-inch capacitive multi-touch screen for waveforms, track navigation, customisation and X/Y effects control. Sixteen velocity-sensitive multi-colour pads (eight per deck, ten modes each) sit alongside stacked Serato DJ Pro FX and internal dual-pad FLEX FX.
The mixer has three-band isolator EQs with full-cut filters and selectable crossover points, plus a swept filter with adjustable resonance. Two crossfader and line faders and the crossfader use MAG THREE tension-adjustable technology. Mic 1 has talk-over and an echo effect, and a session input allows an extra source to be mixed in.
Audio runs through AKM converters at 24-bit / 48 kHz with 32-bit floating-point processing. Each deck input accepts phono or line level over RCA, and two USB-B ports connect to computers with class-compliant audio and MIDI. Outputs include balanced XLR main, balanced TRS booth, an unbalanced session output and two headphone jacks. Two USB-A ports take deck controllers.
