The Texas-Pro is a dual-function guitar pedal. One side is an overdrive circuit with a three-position range switch that selects vintage, modern or high-gain voicings, covering light breakup through to full saturation. The other side is a class-A booster that adds up to +22dB of clean gain.
The overdrive and the booster can be used on their own or together. Engaging the booster also switches on a built-in effects loop, so a delay or other effect can be brought in at the same moment for solos. The booster can also be used to push the front end of a smaller amp so that it breaks up naturally.
The pedal uses true-bypass switching, so the signal is left untouched when it is off, and it runs from a standard 9V power supply. Its part number is R800 7027 00. The maker lists it as discontinued and no longer shipping, with a user guide and smart sheet available for existing owners.
